Meet Eve Rogerson at Reaching Resolution in Charlotte, Matthews NC

Eve is a clinical therapist at Reaching Resolution specializing in trauma treatment and working with the queer community using a feminist, social justice, and anti-racist approach.

Eve is experienced in helping adolescents and adults manage depression, anxiety, and stress, as well as supporting clients working through trauma. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) treatment. Eve also works with couples using the Gottman Method. At the beginning of 2023, Eve completed AFFIRM group therapy training to provide trans-affirming cognitive behavioral therapy services to groups.

Eve’s work focuses on both what is happening on the inside as well as outside factors in people’s lives that may impact their well-being. She is an LGBTGEQIAP+ affirming and informed clinician who is passionate about supporting people to live their lives as their true, full selves.

Eve is a member of SAIGE, the American Counseling Association’s (ACA) Society for Sexual, Affectional, Intersex, and Gender Expansive Identities, and the 2021 recipient of the American Mental Health Counselors Association’s (AMHCA) Emerging Professional of the Year Award. She is the co-author of a book chapter currently in publication that focuses on applying neuroscience principles to counseling.

Eve is a member of Charlotte Trans Health, a collective of healthcare providers committed to a mission centered on reducing health disparities for those with diverse sexual and gender identities. In 2023, Eve joined the Board of Carolinas CARE Partnership (CCP), an organization focused on seeking justice through healthcare and housing.
