Hello, I am Emily Fesmire.  I am a licensed professional counselor and a licensed school counselor.  I work with individuals of all ages.  My primary work is with children and young adults.  I offer services such as play therapy and animal assisted therapy.  I have a client centered focus and really let my clients help guide the therapeutic process.  The time they spend with me is their time and it is important to me that they know that.  I enjoy using tools such as art and music to help enhance the therapeutic process.  I received my bachelors degree in sociology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and my masters in counseling from Wake Forest University.  I also work as a full time high school counselor and can help provide insight into how children’s mental health is impacted by the school environment.  It is important to me that my clients get the best care and support possible.
