Hello. I'm Mao Xiong, a clinical therapist at Reaching Resolution. I received my master's degree in social work (MSW) from Winthrop University and my bachelor's degree in social work (BSW) from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I am currently a Licensed Clinical Social Worker- Associate. I am certified in rabbit therapy and unification therapy. I am currently working on the Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) certification.
I've worked directly with children and parents for the past 8 years. I am passionate about working with children to help them understand their emotions (big or small). I also enjoy helping parents understand their children. I am an experienced hospital social worker in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. I am comfortable speaking about complex medical diagnoses and unexpected deaths that cause you deep pain in ways you cannot explain to others. I am here by your side to help you navigate the emotions that won't go away after the loss of a loved one.
I am here for you to support you through this hard time. I want to hear your story and help you find your voice again.
