I am the founder and president of Reaching Resolution, as well as offer clinical coaching services. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing with my two dogs and trail-riding on horseback.

I hold doctorate degree in Psychology with concentrations and counseling and developmental psychology, and I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor supervisor and a certified divorced coach in North Carolina. I am also a superior court and District Court mediator, certified by the state of North Carolina alternative dispute resolution commission. In addition, I am a certified parenting coordinator helping couples involved in high conflict custody and divorce cases.

I work with young children through adults, and I am highly specialized in providing interventions for children with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorders, Oppositional Defiant Disorder and behavior Challenges. I'm also specialized in working with adults, navigating divorce and children who have experienced parental separation and divorce. I am a nationally certified Parent-Child Interaction Therapist (PCIT).

As the recipient of several Federal research grants, the findings for my studies have been extensively published in professional Journals, books and reviews.

I serve on the editorial board for the Journal of Social, Behavioral and Health Sciences, and as a peer viewer for the Association for Play Therapy’s, Play Magazine.

I am a member of the American Psychological Association, the American Counseling Association, the Association for Play Therapy, the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, as well as an associate member of the North Carolina Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
