Dr. Tracy is the founder and president of Reaching Resolution, as well as offers clinical and coaching services. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing with her two dogs, and trail-riding on horseback.
She holds a doctorate degree in psychology, with concentrations in counseling and developmental psychology, and is a licensed clinical mental health counselor supervisor and a certified divorce coach in North Carolina. She is also a superior court and district court mediator, certified by the state of North Carolina alternative dispute resolution commission. In addition, she is a certified parenting coordinator helping couples involved in high conflict custody and divorce cases.
She works with young children through adults and is highly specialized in providing interventions for children with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorders, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and Behavior Challenges. She also specializes in working with adults navigating divorce, and children who have experienced parental separation and divorce. She is a nationally certified Parent-Child Interaction Therapist (PCIT).
As the recipient of several federal research grants, the findings from her studies have been extensively published in professional journals, books, and reviews. She serves on the editorial board for the Journal of Social, Behavioral, and Health Sciences, and as a peer-reviewer for the Association for Play Therapy’s Play Magazine. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, the American Counseling Association, the Association for Play Therapy, the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, as well as is an associate member of the North Carolina Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
